Privacy Policy

haio (“haio”, “we”, “us”) is a Singapore property platform that helps you search properties, view transaction data, get valuations and affordability estimates, read market insights, and request home services. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using haio you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account details. When you sign in by email or with Google, we receive your email address and, for Google sign-in, your basic profile information (your name and email) via Supabase authentication. We do not receive or store your Google password.
• Property activity. Your property searches and the listings or projects you save, so we can show your saved items and improve your results.
• Service-request details. When you request a home service, the details you provide about the job, including any photos or videos you upload, so we can match you with a provider and pass along your request.
• Usage analytics. Basic, aggregated usage information (such as which pages and features are used) to understand performance and improve haio.

How we use your information

• To provide, operate, and secure the haio service.
• To authenticate you and populate your haio profile (name and email).
• To save your searches and saved properties to your account.
• To match you with independent third-party service providers when you submit a service request, and to share your request details with the relevant provider so they can respond.
• To analyse and improve the quality of the service.
• To communicate with you about your account, requests, or subscription.

Google user data

If you sign in with Google, the Google account information we receive (your name and email address) is used only to authenticate you and to populate your haio profile. We do not sell your Google user data, and we do not use it for advertising. haio’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. You can revoke haio’s access at any time from your Google Account permissions.

Where your data is stored

Account data, saved items, and service-request details (including uploaded media) are stored using Supabase, our database and authentication provider. We rely on Supabase’s infrastructure and security controls to keep your data safe.

Cookies and sessions

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to maintain your session. These are necessary for authentication and basic functionality. We do not use them to build advertising profiles.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Service-request details are retained for as long as needed to fulfil the request and for our records. You may ask us to delete your data as described below; we will do so unless we are required to retain it for legal or operational reasons.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us at support@haio.sg. You can also revoke Google sign-in access from your Google Account at any time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of haio after an update means you accept the revised policy.
